New article on Edutopia – Eliminating the Checklist Mentality

This recent article on Edutopia: Quality Instruction + Differentiation: Beyond the Checklist addresses concrete actions that help teachers know what students need. In part, this is accomplished by enabling learners to collaborate in the instructional experience.     DQ makes things more interesting for both teachers and students. Let’s face it, teaching the same concepts year after year can get boring. Using DQ makes each class a different experience. So it’s more enjoyable for the teacher as well as the students!
